I do (f*cking) care!

Onze tijd wordt gekenmerkt door constante uitdagingen en onzekerheden. Iedereen gebruikt de term "Care", omdat het de enige manier lijkt om te overleven.

Het begrip "Zorg" nodigt ons uit om vragen te stellen en opnieuw na te denken over hoe we ons verhouden tot onszelf, elkaar en de wereld waarin we leven. Ergens om geven betekent ook dat je je er zorgen over maakt.

Met I do (f*cking) care! wil Zinnema ruimte maken voor artistieke projecten die de complexe relaties tussen zorg, machtsdynamiek, kwetsbaarheid en veerkracht onderzoeken. We zijn benieuwd hoe jij manieren ziet om zorg te dragen voor onze communities en de planeet... met of zonder yogamat.

Grijp je kans en dien je artistiek project in bij Zinnema voor het seizoen 2024-25!

Deze residentie is gemaakt voor jou als je:

• In of rond Brussel woont 
• Een artistiek project wil uitvoeren en wil werken rond het thema I do (f*cking) care!
• Een maker bent die buiten het gebruikelijke kader wil treden
• Een kunstenaar bent, die creëert in hen/haar/zijn vrije tijd
• Een niet-professionele of semiprofessionele kunstenaar bent
• Wil deel uitmaken van een groeiend netwerk van kunstenaars, creatievelingen, ondernemers, artivisten en andere pioniers 

Wat bieden we aan?

• Een residentieplek tussen september '24 en juni '25
• Een productiebudget
• Logistieke en technische ondersteuning
• Hulp bij communicatie en promotie
• Een contactpersoon voor inhoudelijke en mentale ondersteuning
• Een voorstelling voor je publiek

Zinnema wordt gefinancierd door de Vlaamse Gemeenschap en de Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie. Projecten rond gesproken woord moeten verstaanbaar zijn voor een Nederlandstalig publiek.

Notre époque est marquée par des défis constants et des incertitudes. Tout le monde utilise le terme "Care", qui semble être le seul moyen de survivre.

La notion de "Care" nous invite à nous interroger et à repenser notre relation à nous-mêmes, aux autres et au monde dans lequel nous vivons. Prendre soin de quelque chose se traduit aussi par le fait de s'en préoccuper.

Avec I do (f*cking) care ! Zinnema souhaite faire de la place pour des projets artistiques qui examinent les relations complexes entre le soin, les dynamiques du pouvoir, la vulnérabilité et la résilience. Nous attendons avec impatience de savoir comment vous envisagez de prendre soin de nos communautés et de la planète... avec ou sans tapis de yoga.

Cette résidence est faite pour vous si vous:

• Habitez à Bruxelles ou dans ses environs 
• Voulez réaliser un projet artistique et souhaitez travailler autour du thème I do (f*cking) care!
• êtes un.e créateur.ice qui veut sortir du cadre habituel
• Vous êtes un.e artiste qui crée pendant son temps libre
• Vous êtes un.e artiste non professionnel ou semi-professionnel
• Vous voulez faire partie d'un réseau croissant d'artistes, de créatifs, d'entrepreneurs, d'artivistes et d'autres pionniers

Ce que nous offrons:

• Une place en résidence entre septembre ‘24 et juin ‘25
• Un budget de production
• Un soutien logistique et technique
• Une aide à la communication et à la promotion
• Une personne de contact pour un soutien émotionel et artistique
• Une représentation pour votre public

Zinnema est financé par la Communauté flamande et la Commission communautaire flamande. Les projets axés sur la parole doivent être compréhensibles pour un public néerlandophone.

The notion of "Care" invites us to question and rethink how we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world we live in. Caring for something translates also the fact of being concerned about it.

With I do (f*cking) care! Zinnema wants to make space for artistic projects that examine the complex relationships between care, power dynamics, vulnerability, and resilience. We look forward to hearing how you see ways of caring for our communities and the planet... with or without a yoga mat.

Take a chance and submit your project to Zinnema for the 2024-25 season!

This residency is made for you if you:

• Are living in or around Brussels 
• Want to carry out an artistic project and want to work around the theme I do (f*cking) care!
• Are a creator who wants to go beyond the usual framework
• Are an artist who creates in their free time
• Are non-professional or semi-professional artist
• Want to be part of a growing network of artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, artivists and other pioneers 

What we offer:

• A residence spot between September ’24 and June ’25
• A working budget
• Logistical and technical support
• Help with communication and promotion
• A contact person for substantive and mental support
• A performance for your audience

Zinnema is funded by the Flemish Community and the Flemish Community Commission. Projects centering on spoken word must be intelligible to a Dutch-speaking audience.
